Professor Andrew Chen received his B.B.A. in Accounting from Soochow University at Taiwan, M.S. in Accountancy from George Washington University, and Ph.D. in Operations and Information Management from University of Connecticut. His current teaching and research interests include knowledge management, IT business value, human computer interface design, database management, information privacy, and business and Web programming applications. His research work appears in MIS Quarterly, Journal of Management Information Systems, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, Information & Management, Decision Sciences, Journal of Knowledge Management, European Journal of Operational Research, and international conferences and workshops such as ICIS, AMCIS, DSI, PACIS, and WITS. He has currently served as the Editor-in-Chief of Decision Support Systems.

Professor Yi-Chen Lan is the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Global Development at Western Sydney University. Yi-Chen holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree and a PhD degree from the University of Western Sydney. Professor Lan is responsible for the institution partnerships engagement and relationship specifically on the East and South-East Asian region and strategically lead the university’s major institutional partnership programs. Yi-Chen also serves as the University’s main connection to the local Chinese and Taiwanese business community with direct responsibility for fundraising and development in conjunction with the Office of Advancement and Alumni.

Kathy Grise, Senior Program Director – IEEE Future Directions, support’s new technology initiatives, is the IEEE staff program director for the IEEE Digital Reality Initiative, IEEE Technology Navigator AI, IEEE Future Directions, and IEEE Industry Advisory Board committees, and manages the digital presence team for Future Directions. Previous initiatives included big data and cloud computing. Ms. Grise served as the Technical Program Chair of the IEEE COMPSAC 2020 Symposium – Data Sciences, Analytics, & Technologies (DSAT).
